Individual Fruit Puffs
1 package (6) frozen puff pastry shells
6 oz cream cheese
1 large egg
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup sugar
2 cups pie filling or fruit sauce
Bake shells for 10 minutes (about half done), remove half of the center.
Blend the cream cheese, egg, sugar and vanilla until smooth and fill shells with mixture.
Continue to bake until filling is just set, about 10-15 minutes, do not overcook. Cool.
Place on desert plate, fill with pie filling or sauce and serve with ice cream.
