Oohh...the fresh fruits of summer! Especially the strawberry, just now coming ripe in the garden - this is a wonderful way to enjoy the berries. You can serve this desert fancy in a fruit cup or just pack the dipping cream and take on a picnic. The cream is amazingly simple to prepare (5 minutes tops) and is absolutely fabulous with just about any fruit dipped in it!
1 qt fresh, ripe strawberries
Dipping cream
Dark chocolate, shaved
Slice strawberries into fruit cup until half full. Top with generous dollop of dipping cream and finish by topping with shaved dark chocolate. Garnish with fresh mint sprig and enjoy.
Serves 6
Dipping Cream:
8 oz (1 pkg) cream cheese
7oz (1 jar) marshmallow creme
1/4 c. amaretto
Blend all ingredients together until smooth. Done!
